WADENA, Minn. (KVRR) — A $25,000 reward is now being offered in a Wadena, Minnesota cold case involving 23-year-old Carla Anderson.
She disappeared in 1987 sometime between 8 p.m on Friday, November 13 and noon on Saturday, November 14 from her Wadena apartment.
She was slight in stature, just 4-feet-11-inches tall and 80 pounds.
Anderson was last seen wearing a Hardee’s jacket, a Pepsi and Mountain Dew sweatshirt, blue jeans, and pink sneakers.
Anderson suffered from a slight mental disability.
Despite extensive investigation by Wadena Police Department, an arrest has not been made.
Her family hopes to get some closure.
“It’s hard to kind of wrap your head around the fact that is she really gone is she not gone. I think the overall feeling is yeah, probably more than likely. But either way we want her back. You know, closure, it’s been coming up on 40 years, it’s a long time,” said Dan Anderson, Carla’s brother.
“Spotlight on Crime” is offering the reward of up to $25,000 in the hope that someone will come forward to help investigators locate Carla.
