Moorhead police investigating report of stabbing

MOORHEAD — The Moorhead Police Department is investigating a reported stabbing that occurred the morning of Friday, June 26.

According to police, they received the report of a stabbing in the 1300 block of 20th St. S. just after 8 a.m.

Officers say they learned that the victim had been taken by vehicle from where the stabbing occurred to a fire station nearby.

Police spoke with the driver of the vehicle and say they are cooperating. The stabbing victim has been taken to a local health care facility for treatment.

This is an active investigation and police say they will share more information as it becomes available.
