KVRR Exclusive: Hear From The Man Who Received Jason Moszer’s Heart

Dave Moszer Talks About His Son's continued Service In A Full Interview At 9 PM

FARGO, N.D. — Jason Moszer was an officer with the Fargo Police Department who was gunned down in the line of duty in 2016.

Last night we shared snapshots from the first moment the Moszer family heard the heartbeat of their son Jason in his heart recipient, Dave Knudson.

In a KVRR exclusive interview, T.J. Nelson sat down with Jason’s dad Dave and the man who now has his heart to talk about that moment

“It was sad and then happy, said Dave Moszer.  Happy for the Knudson family that everything has worked out so well for them with Jason’s heart.”

Dave Knudson, the heart recipient said,  “It was an emotional roller coaster you could say.”

T.J. asked how it has been since the transplant.

“The heart has been great. I had some other health issues associated with having a bad heart but other than that the heart has been stellar.”

We’ll have the entire exclusive interview on KVRR Local News at 9.

We’ll also tell you how you can become a donor since tomorrow isn’t just Valentine’s Day it’s also National Donor Day.
