Kevin Cramer was sworn in by Vice President Mike Pence for the 116th Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. — North Dakota’s new junior United States Senator has been sworn in.

Kevin Cramer was sworn in by Vice President Mike Pence for the 116th Congress.

The Republican defeated Democrat Sen. Heidi Heitkamp for the seat back in November.

Senator Cramer said he’s ” honored to work ” on the behalf of North Dakotans.

Minnesota Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith were also sworn in after winning their races last November.
