Social Distancing: May The Fourth Be With You
Plus, A Perfect Excuse To Revisit Your Favorites And Show Them To A New Audience
Social distancing is giving us a lot of time to catch up on the myriad of new shows streaming.
Even with all this free time, you’ll never catch up on everything. But it’s also a time to revisit the classics.
So here’s an idea, show your loved ones some of your favorite shows and movies. I showed my girlfriend my absolute favorite movie of all time over the weekend.
Yup, “Wayne’s World” is my favorite movie. It has been since I was like five years old.
I’m not sure why I love it so much, but I do. And I can’t believe that I hadn’t shown it to my girlfriend yet.
It was actually her idea to sit down and watch it. Thanks, sweetie! And thank goodness she liked it. I don’t know if I could handle her hating it.
Now’s a great time to show your loved ones some of your long-time favorites if you haven’t yet. You can even do watch parties over Zoom or Skype with friends you can’t see in person.
Come to think of it, my girlfriend still hasn’t seen all of Star Wars. And today is Star Wars Day, May Fourth.
May the fourth be with you.
Disney+ started streaming “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” today.
Now all nine Star Wars movies in the so-called “Skywalker saga” are available in one place.
Plus, there’s more Star Wars goodies for your streaming pleasure on Star Wars day.
Disney+ is also releasing an eight-episode docu-series about “The Mandalorian”, their hit show which introduced the world to Baby Yoda.
Then last, but not least, the series finale of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” also dropped Monday.
What are your binge-watching plans? I know my watch list got a whole lot bigger today. Give us your recommendations!
