LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Storm
FARGO — We’re on a real roll with the snow-loving, fluffy, northern breeds here on Pet Connection, and Storm the husky couldn’t be a more perfect example of a breed that loves our winter weather.
He was found as a stray wandering the streets of Casselton before rescue volunteer Crystal Aakre took him in to her kennel there on behalf of Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals, a small rescue located in the Valley City area.
Aakre’s placed 45 dogs so far for the rescue, and now, it’s little Storm’s turn.
They think he’s about a year and a half old, and usually that’s a pretty wild age for a husky.
However, for some reason, Storm is about as easy-going as you can get with this very vocal, often independent-minded, intelligent breed.
He knows sit and down, gets along well with kids, adults, dogs and even cats, and has plenty of energy to play but also is affectionate and cuddly.
He’s got all his shots, is microchipped and neutered, and as you can see, he’s absolutely adorable, with the classic husky thick coat that’s so great for pets in our climate.
He’s great on a leash with minimal pulling, and best of all for a playful person, a decent amount of exercise and consistency in training should keep him in tip-top shape to be your perfect husky companion.
If you’re looking for a young dog who’s got good manners and a sweet disposition to show off as well as his natural good looks, check out this perfect Storm of a husky at his profile, here:
