LIVE: How to Hack Your World If You’re an Introvert (and it’s Stacked Against You)

FARGO — If you think you’re an introvert and the world is sort of stacked against you… it might not be your imagination.

But counselors say you can take on the world and hack your personality traits to help you flourish in a world geared toward extroverts.

That’s the focus of a new, in-person workshop coming up at Concordia College.

Counselors say a lot of our culture favors extroverts, who tend to flourish in large group settings.

One tip: if you struggle at parties, or bars, or other gatherings that don’t allow you the time and quiet for one-on-one interactions that introverts prefer, remember to give yourself some grace, and leave extra time to recover and recharge your energy afterward.

Counselor Peter Vogt — a self-described introvert — joined the Morning Show to share insight on how introverts can rethink their strategies in an extrovert-focused world, and tips on how to hack their personalities’ strengths.
