“Best in Show” at the Fargo Theatre
FARGO — Here at KVRR, we try to put on a good show for you.
And now, in downtown, you can catch the very best — with a collaboration between two of the region’s favorite nonprofits.
The Fargo Theatre is screening the film classic “Best in Show” starring the late Catherine O’Hara in one of her most iconic roles.
And they’re doing the screening with the help of some adoptable dogs from Homeward Animal Shelter.
They’ll be present for the film’s showing and available for you to meet.
It’s the second such type of collaboration the historic theater’s done with Homeward.
Their annual Cat Video Fest has been a hit for several years now, and they always bring in Homeward’s adoptable cats for people to meet.
It’s a great way to ease shelter overcrowding with a tie-in to entertainment.
Homeward’s Natalie Perhus, along with shelter dog Keyser, and the Fargo Theatre’s Karen Hartland joined the Morning Show to talk about “Best in Show” and what it means to share the film experience with your family — and maybe your new family member-to-be.
