Driver of car stolen in Moorhead flees Minnesota State Patrol, deputies, police

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – The driver of a car stolen from a south Moorhead convenience store managed to get away on three tires after stop sticks were used on I-94.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says the car was taken from Holiday station on 34th St. at around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Empting says a commercial vehicle inspector at the MnDOT weigh station east of Moorhead spotted the car.
Deputies and a state trooper alerted Barnesville police and deflation equipment flattened one tire.
The driver continued east on I-94 and a decision was made not to pursue. The car has not been found.
