UPDATE: 122 rescued from Upper Red Lake

UPPER RED LAKE, Minn. (KVRR) – (UPDATE 8:42 p.m.) The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that 122 people were rescued from an ice floe that broke off at Upper Red Lake.

No injuries were reported.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that around 75 to 100 fishermen have been stranded on an ice floe at Upper Red lake. Emergency crews are on the way to assist in the rescue.
