LIVE: Get On The Sustainability Bus

FARGO — They’re some of the most sustainable ways you can get around town, but they sometimes sort of blend into the environment.

Now, Fargo city planners want students to get on the bus… both literally and figuratively.

They’re asking for your middle and high school students’ art submissions, to be featured on the side of a city bus.

The designs should highlight ideas about environmental stewardship, sustainability, and climate resiliency.

Kids have until February 2nd to create and submit their art.

Eligible students must live in Fargo, and either be enrolled or homeschooled in a school within the city.

It’s not just the chance to see their work on the side of a bus.

Kids can also win cash prizes if the review panel selects their work.

Fargo Youth Initiative Representative Abhijna Kavasseri and Assistant City Planner Catlyn Christie visited the Morning Show to talk about why students are so passionate about reversing climate change.
