Jason Larkin Shares Sad Update on Missing Service Dog, Ruby

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A sad update from the Fargo man who had been searching for his missing service dog, Ruby, since December.

Jason Larkin shared a post on Facebook saying Ruby was found and unfortunately she is in doggie heaven.

He did not specify where the dog’s remains were located.

The family at one time had offered thousands of dollars for the safe return of the dog.

Larkin says since Ruby loved hockey, the kids will make a cross out of broken hockey sticks they have piled up in the basement.

He has a new service dog named Knox and says it carries Ruby’s spirit, is loving, caring and gentle.
