Murder Suspect Moved From Altru to Grand Forks County Correctional Center

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — The Larimore, North Dakota man who was shot by authorities after an alleged murder is now out of the hospital and in jail.
43-year-old Troy Larson was released from Altru Hospital on Tuesday and moved to Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
Larson is charged with felony double a murder, attempted murder and seven counts of reckless endangerment.
Bond was set at $1 million.
On March 23, authorities say Larson fired shots at 64-year-old Jamey Holweger and a woman in a home in Larimore.
Holweger died but the woman was able to escape to call 911.
SWAT responded and Larson fired shots at a vehicle that breached a window after refusing to surrender.
He was shot twice in the back.
Holweger and Larson are related.
