LIVE: All Whipped Up for the Hawley Rodeo
It’s time for some big tricks, tip-top talent, and thrills this weekend.
The PRCA Rodeo is in Hawley, Minnesota for its annual visit.
But before the shows get started, some of its most impressive performers paid a visit to the Morning Show.
Shyla Navarre and her younger sisters Layna and Clara perform as the Flying Arena Stars.
They’re part of the Navarre trick riding family.
It’s several generations strong, and includes their mom Melissa, and their dad Corey, who was a professional bull rider.
Shyla showed the Morning Show folks some of her whip target skills.
She also has a lot of skill with the lasso, as Dylan discovered.
Shyla and Melissa talked with Emily about the commitment and skill it takes to be a professional trick rider, and how their relationship with the animals they work with is an integral part.
