Groundbreaking Ceremony Held For Hector International Airport Expansion Project
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A groundbreaking ceremony is held at Hector International Airport for the terminal expansion and new parking garage.
Gov. Doug Burgum along with Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer and local leaders were on hand for the event.
The $195 million project will renovate the current 5 gates, and will add 4 new gates to the airport.
The project will be completed in phases, allowing all 5 gates to remain open during the construction process.
The parking ramp with 1,000 spaces is expected to be completed in 2025.
The Airport Authority says the goal is to have the expansion and renovation completed by 2027.
