Grand Forks Awarded $3.4 Million Park Service Grant To Improve Greenway Recreation

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Some major improvements are in store for the Greenway in Grand Forks.

The city has been awarded a $3.4 million grant to redevelop its recreational features.

Grand Forks Greenway is just one of 54 projects in the entire country that have been awarded grants by the National Park Service.

A total of $254 million in grants were awarded nationwide.

Mayor Brandon Bochenski says enhancing the Greenway will continue to improve the quality of life in Grand Forks and is a great addition to both attract and retain families and workforce.
