Woman trapped in vehicle after crash in Grand Forks that impacted traffic for well over an hour

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A woman gets trapped in her vehicle after a crash at the intersection of South Washington Street and Demers Avenue.

Police were called to the scene Sunday just before 4 p.m. after multiple 911 calls.

A 69-year-old man’s vehicle hit the 78-year-old woman’s vehicle causing it to roll over, trapping her.

She was cut out of the vehicle and taken to Altru with non life-threatening injuries.

Traffic was impacted for about 90 minutes during the crash investigation.

The identities of those involved and their hometowns have not been released.
