Pet Connection: Meet Vicky and Vaughn

FARGO — If you’re looking for some cuddles to warm you up on this cold December day, you’ve come to the right cats in Vicky and Vaughn.

Because, if this affectionate and snuggly sister and brother don’t manage to warm you up with kitten cuddles, the kitten-juggling you’ll have to do to keep them in one spot will do the trick.

The two four-month old kittens came in to Far North Felines after a rescue worker discovered them living in a tent encampment in Otter Tail County.

Not a good situation for the humans, let alone for kittens.

They’re both well-socialized, with lots of playful energy that they keep in check by tussling with each other.

They also both love to be handled, and like to climb up their rescue mom Debra Bartelt to sit on her shoulder and nibble on her hair.

Both are fixed and fully vaccinated, and tested feline leukemia-negative — pretty fortunate given their prior living situation.

They’re both evidently very happy to be living as indoor cats now, so if you’d like to open your home to them and be their furever family, check out their profiles, here:
