Pet Connection: Meet Delaney

FARGO — A lot of people get stressed out over their wrinkles. But if you’re the kind of person who knows wrinkles, and jowls, and forehead lines all give someone great character, you’re in luck, because Delaney is up for adoption.

She’s a pretty girl who came in to Homeward Animal Shelter by way of the pound, and they think she’s about four years old and a mastiff cross.

She’s really more of a mini-mastiff at 55 pounds, which makes her perfectly manageable for someone intimidated by the idea of handling the really big dogs that adult mastiffs tend to be.

Delaney is in great shape and in great spirits.

She’s still quite a young dog and has the playfulness and energy you’d expect, but she’s also extremely well-behaved, as well as being super-affectionate and super-snuggly.

She loves to give hugs and cuddles, she gets along fantastically well with other dogs and with kids, and her sweetness and good nature makes her a great fit for all sorts of homes.

It’s amazing a girl of such great character wound upĀ  at the pound without someone coming to look for her and bring her home to love.

But if you might be that person, check out her profile, here:
