Pet Connection: Meet McDonald
FARGO — McDonald may not have a farm of his own, but he’s just as much fun as a farm full of animals all by himself.
He’s only about a year old, and has lots of playful kitten energy to spare, but for some reason, he’s as gentle and well-mannered as a cat much older than that.
He came to Homeward Animal Shelter from a local pound, so they’re not sure where he’s learned such lovely manners, given that he’s unlikely to have had as good a chance at proper socialization as a cat raised in someone’s home would have.
He’s currently in foster care with an MSUM student who surrounds him with doting female fans, so maybe all that love is part of why he’s such a sweetie.
He also answers to the nickname “Mickey.”
He’s got gorgeous tabby markings and the classic tabby “eyeliner,” so he’s just as striking in appearance as he is in personality.
He loves to play and to cuddle, so he’s the perfect companion for all kinds of people.
He’s a little selective about what kinds of other cats he likes, so if you don’t have any other cats yet, he’s definitely your guy.
If this little cat with a big personality is the right kind of guy for you, check out his profile, here:
