Bomb threat at Walmart in Jamestown deemed not credible, lockdowns lifted

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KVRR) — Police in Jamestown have given the all clear after a bomb threat was called in to Walmart around 10 a.m.

The store was evacuated and closed for about 70 minutes and area schools were placed on lockdown during the investigation.

Numerous law enforcement agencies responded to search the interior and exterior of the store.

They say nothing suspicious was found and the threat was deemed not credible.

Walmart staff and customers were then allowed to return to the store.

The lockdown at area schools was lifted around 11:30 a.m.
