Fargo man to appear on Fox game show ‘The Floor’

FARGO — You could say one Fargo man is pretty floored at a recent opportunity.

That’s because he was chosen from folks all around the country to compete in Wednesday’s episode of “The Floor,” on KVRR-TV.

Dean Aamodt says he sent in his audition reel last year after having watched the show with his wife and becoming a fan.

He says they love to watch game shows, and this one drew them in.

After a series of interviews, the producers of “The Floor” flew him out to Ireland, where the show’s recorded.

Aamodt says he bonded with a lot of the other contestants, but once competition started in earnest, it was kind of every man for himself.

Aamodt joined the Morning Show to talk about what it was like competing, how it reminded him in some ways of his college experience, and what it took to get the producers’ attentions.
