LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Tennis

FARGO — It’s a good thing all of us on the Morning Show have microphones, because talky Tennis the pit bull has a lot to say and boy does he have the voice to say it with.

He’s a handsome pit bull mix who comes to Pet Connection from 4 Luv of Dog shelter, courtesy of volunteer dog handler Abby Carvell.

Tennis is a little less than 2 years old this is probably as big as he’s going to get.

He’s got the classic cuddly, affectionate pit bull personality, and he really loves food.

That’s why he’s so chatty: he started barking for treats when his volunteer ran out, and he kept it up the whole time, just to make sure the humans weren’t forgetting he was still up for snacks.

The good thing about this is that because he’s highly food-motivated, that will make him easier to train when you want to teach him the command “quiet.”

He’s got a sweet and charming personality, and gets along right away with everyone he meets.

He loves affection, does well in the car, and between the good looks and the gift of gab, he could practically make it as a news anchor if he needed a new career.
