LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Viktor

FARGO — Viktor may not have had the most triumphant Fourth of July last year, but he’s won out over a very tough experience and he’s ready for his furever home.

While everyone else was celebrating the holiday, poor Viktor spent it recuperating.

That’s because he had a firework blow up in his face and got injured.

Fortunately, he’s made a full recovery, with no lasting signs of injuries either to his face or his good attitude.

As far as the folks at Kritter Krazy can tell, he’s about three years old, and has been with their shelter since last year.

He’s a gregarious and charming guy, with the warm and affectionate nature pit bulls are known for.

He loves to jump up and give hugs and kisses, and he likes all sorts of people and other dogs — just not cats.

If Viktor’s the champ for you, check out his profile here, and don’t forget to prepare your pet for Independence Day too:
