LIVE: Outgrowing their Kennels
WEST FARGO — Fans of the FM Kennel Club are going to have to find their way to a new location soon.
That’s because they’ve outgrown their old space and are moving to a bigger facility on Fargo’s north side.
Kennel club officials are getting ready for the move amid last-minute preps for their annual All-Breed dog show at the end of the month.
That’s still being held at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.
They’re expecting up to 300 dogs there competing in all 7 American Kennel Club categories.
They’re excited for the show, but also for the move, which they say will let them provide more classes and training, like scent work, obedience, agility, and puppy education.
The Kennel Club’s Lisa Braun joined the Morning Show for a live interview about the show, and explained why the volunteers who teach those classes have experience on the national stage to help you and your dog learn new skills and tricks to help dogs and people live happier, healthier lives in our community.
