LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Bobbi and Wayne

This week’s Pet Connection is a couple of bonded cuties who come as a package deal, so prepare to fall in love not once, but twice.

The spicy young lady is named Bobbi, and she and her brother Wayne come to us from Natural Pet Center courtesy of Cat’s Cradle Rescue here in town, and in an unusual and welcome turn of events, they are the last kitties left there.

Natural Pet Center deserves a big congratulations for getting them all adopted out, and it couldn’t come at a more critical time.

The kittens came in with some health issues, and while Bobbi is recovered and is perfectly fine, poor little Wayne was left with some mild but probably permanent vision impairment.

His rescue workers don’t think it’ll cause him any long-term problems, aside from a slight difficulty with depth perception.

After all, he’s holding his own here on the Morning Show pretty well, and of course he has his special seeing eye cat, his sister Bobbi.

Natural Pet Center is one of several pet organizations in the region helping out the animals displaced by the storms, including Cats’ Cradle, and Red Barn Veterinary Service.

So if you can help get these kittens adopted, or even fostered, you are clearing up space and resources for the rescues to bring in two more animals who need help.
