LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Eclipse

FARGO — When it comes to being cute, Eclipse the pit-bull cross puppy pretty well eclipses all the competition.

Eclipse came in to the 4 luv of dog shelter on the day of the solar eclipse, and other than his age, which they think is around 4 months old, they haven’t been able to find out much about the little guy’s past.

He came into the shelter all by himself, so it’s unclear if he’s an adopted puppy who somehow got separated from his owner, or whether he’s part of a bigger litter, or where his mother might be.

What they do know is that he’s a very smart little boy who already knows the command “sit,” and wants to be friends with everyone he meets, including other dogs, kids, and the two cats he shares his foster home with.

He’s very playful, but also more than willing to settle down and cuddle up with you if the moment presents itself.

While they think he is at least part pit bull, you can see from his size that he’s not going to stay little as he grows.

He’s already great on a leash and has lots of fun exploring new places, so he’d be a great dog to have new adventures with .

Aleyna Leibfried of 4 Luv of Dog brought little Eclipse in to the studio to show everyone his delightful puppy play energy and cuddle quotient.
