LIVE: Pet Connection: Meet Ralphie

FARGO — Ralphie barely survived a tough start in life in a freezing-cold life outside in a rural North Dakota winter that cost him a couple of toes — but he got through it with his warm heart and personality firmly intact.

He’s an extra-cuddly, extra-kissy, extra head-boopy little orange tabby boy of 7 months old who recently came under the care of Far North Felines’ Debra Bartelt.

He was just neutered a few days ago, and as you can see (from the cuddles) and hear (from the purring), he hasn’t let any of it bother him too much.

He is quite frightened of dogs, so he’ll need a dog-free home, and likes other cats a lot, as long as they aren’t aggressive.

The foot where he two toes lost to frostbite doesn’t appear to be giving him any pain, so along with his newly fixed, chipped and vaccinated status, he should enjoy good health for some time to come.
