Pursuit on I-29 spans through three counties before suspect is stopped and arrested

GRAND FORKS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — A Fort Ransom, North Dakota man is jailed and facing numerous charges after a pursuit on I-29 that spanned three counties.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says 53-year-old Kevin Anderson was reported as a reckless driver around 10:50 a.m. in Cass County.

He was allegedly swerving, brake checking, and not allowing others to pass.

Anderson failed to stop for a trooper, left the interstate briefly and then returned heading north through Traill County and into Grand Forks County.

Law enforcement was able to spike the vehicle and eventually stop Anderson.

He was arrested for reckless endangerment, aggravated reckless driving, fleeing a police officer, preventing arrest, failure to maintain single lane, failure to use signal and care required.

The incident remains under investigation.
