Cass County releases names of three people killed by tornado in Enderlin, North Dakota on Friday

FARGO, N.D (KVRR) — Cass County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of three people killed by a tornado late Friday night.

They are: 73-year-old Michael Dehn, 73-year-old Katherine Pfaff-Dehn and 89-year-old Marcario Lucio.

Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner says at approximately 11:40 p.m. Friday, Cass County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to rural Enderlin for tornado damage to a residence.

Once deputies arrived on the scene, Enderlin Fire Department informed them that storm chasers had located two deceased people as a result of the tornado.

Shortly later, firefighters were sent to another location, where a third deceased person was found as a result of the tornado.

Deputies found extensive damage to the area and began to conduct well-being checks on people with other law enforcement agencies and first responders.
