Four-legged, Fabulous Fundraiser
FARGO — The dogs are taking to the catwalk, and it’s all for a great cause.
It was a night of fabulous, four-legged fashion at the very first “Pawject Runway” fundraiser and fashion show for Homeward Animal Shelter at South Fargo’s Brewhalla.
Pet parents and their dressed-up dogs took to the second floor runway to show off their coordinated outfits, and raise cash to care for the shelter’s dogs.
There were also a lot of the dogs themselves in attendance, dressed to impress and looking for adoptive homes.
There were show sponsors and their pets, as well as past alumnus shelter dogs, appearing with their forever families.
KVRR’s Emily Welker was invited to be in the show because she adopted her dogs, huskies Oberon and Arthur, from Homeward.
Dogs of all breeds and sizes walked the runway in costume, and attendees could cast votes for their favorite model, donating money with each vote.
