Driver dead after car hits tree in Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minn. (KVRR) – Police in Bemidji say alcohol was a factor in a fatal crash involving a car that collided with a tree. The crash was reported Thursday at 4:26 a.m. Firefighters removed the driver from the car and transported the victim to Sanford Medical Center, where the victim died. Unclaimed veteran to be honored in Fargo

FARGO (KVRR) – The Fargo Memorial Honor Guard will conduct a final honors ceremony for an unclaimed Navy veteran next week. Final honors for Brian Gordon Johnson will be held Monday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fargo Veterans Cemetery. Johnson died May 24.  He was in the Navy between 1976 and 1980.
