GRAND FORKS, N.D.–A man was injured after a handgun was unintentionally discharged in Grand Forks. The Grand Forks Police Department responded to the 1600 block of 12th Avenue at approximately 7:45 p.m. for reports of a discharge of a firearm within city limits. UPDATE: The Grand Forks Police Department has identified the man in the crash as 26-year-old Joel Schram of Manvel, North Dakota. Police say Schram did not appear to have been using a seat belt.
